Trip to Leinster House 5th & 6th class January 2026
Our 5th and 6th class pupils recently enjoyed an exciting and educational trip to Dublin. They visited the Houses of the Oireachtas, where they were welcomed by TD Albert Dolan and given a guided tour. Pupils had the wonderful opportunity to see both the Dáil and the Seanad in session.
As part of their cultural experience, the students also explored the National Museum of Natural History and the National Gallery of Ireland, enjoying a rich day of learning across history, politics, and the arts.
A fantastic day was had by all!
Climate Literacy Programme 2026
Our school was delighted to be selected to take part in a pilot Climate Literacy Programme in partnership with Galway Rural Development. Throughout the programme, pupils explored topics such as climate change, sustainability, fast fashion, upcycling and biodiversity. The initiative was thoroughly enjoyed by all involved.
