Huge Community effort provides A fantastic playing facility for our schoolDuring the academic school year of 2021/2022, it was decided that our school would endeavour to construct an all-weather playing facility on the school grounds. A huge fundraising effort took place which gave rise to an overwhelming outpouring of generosity from the local community and extended diaspora. Construction began during the summer holidays, with parents (both past and present) voluntarily giving an enormous amount of time to the project whilst also providing machinery, tools and equipment.
The facility has been in use since September 2022 and is thoroughly enjoyed by our pupils each day. The all weather pitch ensures that children can play and have fun outdoors all year round. This amazing facility is a testament to the strong collective sense of local community that exists in the area and the determination to help continue the evolution and development of our school for future generations.
